We’re excited to kick off our brand-new series, Play the Scene, where SoStereo artists bring their music to life by imagining the movie scene their songs would soundtrack. For our very first episode, we’re featuring Caribombo, a Venezuelan artist whose global artistry reflects the international reach of the SoStereo catalog.

Caribombo chose his track Multicolore — a song recorded between France and Mauritius in collaboration with his friend and vocalist Kirty. The song itself carries a vibrant, balanced energy that blends family, community, and joy, showcasing the cross-cultural creativity at the heart of his sound.

In his imagined scene, Caribombo transports us to a tropical setting where two longtime friends reunite with their young children. As the adults catch up, the kids, full of curiosity and wonder, lock eyes and slip away on an adventure. They wander through a lively neighborhood of fishermen and families, eventually reaching the beach, where they run free and play without limits. It’s a wholesome, childlike moment that captures innocence, connection, and joy — all beautifully tied together by Multicolore.
