Sitting at the top of the Billboard album charts for two weeks since initial release, ‘Certified Lover Boy’ has swept the nation. Drake’s album broke Spotify records, with over 150 million streams on day one. Co-produced and composed by SoStereo artist Mark Borino, ‘Papi’s Home’ effortlessly secured a spot in Billboard’s Hot 100 for the past two weeks. ‘Certified Lover Boy’ was the first album of 2021 to reach Gold within one week of release.
Who is Mark Borino?
Transforming his basement into a music studio, 18-year-old Mark Borino established his career from the comfort of his own home. Between kickstarting his musical journey and juggling part-time jobs, Mark faced hardships acquiring support. Despite the obstacles, he never gave up. Ten years later, Mark’s career as a producer/songwriter has pushed him directly into the spotlight. Mark’s work embraces an array of genres certain to please any audience – and his talent does not go unnoticed.
Achievements
Earlier this year, we teamed up Ralph Lauren with Mark Borino for their “World of Color” campaign, which featured his 2019 single ‘Color’.
From basement to Billboard, Mark Borino is achieving his wildest dreams. Co-producing ‘Papi’s Home’ is a notable feat, one that Mark is rightfully proud of. His ambitious mindset elicits opportunities he never knew possible. “If there’s any piece of advice I could give anyone working towards their dream, it would be this: JUST KEEP GOING.”
